Directions to Norwich University

Airline directions:Norwich Campus
The closest major airport is Burlington International, less than an hour northwest from campus. Airline service includes Continental, Delta, Independence Air, Jet Blue, Northwest, and US Airways.

An alternative airport is the Manchester Airport (New Hampshire). The drive up from Manchester takes a little more than two hours, but you may find some airline savings to make it worthwhile. Airline service includes Air Canada, Delta, Continental, Northwest, Southwest, United, and US Airways.

There is no shuttle service between either airport and Northfield. A taxi from Burlington will cost more than $40.00 each way. Both airports have rental cars.

Highway directions:
Norwich University is at Exit 5 of Interstate 89, onto VT Route 64W. Directions from the highway to the campus are well marked. VT Route 12N goes directly by the campus and into the village of Northfield.
  • From the south: I-91 to I-89 to Vermont Exit 5. At the stop sign, take a left onto Route 64. Follow to junction of Routes 64 and 12. Bear right onto Route 12 north. Follow for 2 miles. The university will be on your left.

  • From the southeast: I-93 to I-89 to Vermont exit 5. At the stop sign, take a left onto Route 64. Follow to junction of Routes 64 and 12. Bear right onto Route 12 north. Follow for 2 miles. The university will be on your left.

  • From the southwest and west: I-90 to I-91 to I-89 to Vermont exit 5. At the stop sign, take a left onto Route 64. Follow to junction of Routes 64 and 12. Bear right onto Route 12 north. Follow for 2 miles. The university will be on your left.

  • From the north: I-89 south to Vermont exit 5. At the yield sign, bear right onto Route 64. Follow to junction of Routes 64 and 12. Bear right onto Route 12 north. Follow for 2 miles. The university will be on your left.
